Update: Speed up your Vista PCs performance easily!

Here’s a little update to “Speed up your Windows Vista PC Easily”. You can also increase your PCs performance by creating a bigger or getting rid of your paging file. To read an article on what you should do with the paging file, click here. To be able to edit the page file’s size with Vista, follow these directions:

  • Go to your Start Menu, right click on “Computer”, and select “Properties”.
  • Select “Advanced system settings” in your sidebar.
  • When the system properties window appears, unde the advanced tab, in the performance sections click on the settings button.
  • The “Performance Option” window will open. When it does go to the “advanced” tab and in the virtual memory section click the Change” button.
  • Well you’re finally there. After reading and changing the size of your “Paging File”, restart your computer and see how your computer works so much faster. 🙂

  2. I knew this could be done in Windows XP! Well, it never struck me to do the same in Windows Vista. Thanks!

No problem. You should really thank the guy who wrote the article on how to use the paging file though. 🙂
